JHAPA: Three people have been arrested in Jhapa with loaded guns and stolen goods. The arrestees are 19-year-old Aditya Limbu of Arjundhara Municipality-4, 22-year-old Chiring Tamang and 21-year-old Nikhil Tamang of the same area, said DSP Krishna Kumar Chand of the District Police Office, Jhapa.
DSP Chand said that 1 thana of silver coin was recovered from Aditya, 19 thana of telecom recharge card of Rs 50, 2 thana of silver ring, 2 thana of silver and 1 thana of silver coin were recovered from Chhiring, 5 thana of recharge card of Ncell of Rs 50 and 1 thana of silver coin was recovered from Nikhil.
He said police also found a loaded gun hidden in Chiring’s home. Police started investigation after receiving information that a grocery shop run by Indira Adhikari of Mildanda in Arjundhara-7 was burgled by breaking the lock at around 10: 30pm on September 25.
During the investigation, the police station Shanishchare found the youths living in Arjundhara-4 Devan Chowk in suspicious circumstances and arrested them. Police said the suspects were taken to the local police station for further investigation.
